Appointed Financial Group provides financial services to individuals in the southern region of the United States. The business was started in 1999 and has been awarded two economic grants, one from the city of New Orleans and the other from the city of Shreveport. Appointed has also helped several students start successful businesses in New Orleans.
We specialize in tax consulting, planning and preparation; retirement planning through insurance and annuities. Our founder holds licenses in life, health and accident insurance, real estate, commercial lending, and investment banking. With her, the company has helped hundreds of families to find financial success.

Patricia B. Robertson is an Associate Professor of Public Administration in the College of Business at Southern University at New Orleans. Patricia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, A Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a PhD in Public Policy.
Patricia provides consulting services to nonprofit organizations, small businesses and churches and free financial training twice a year to the community. Patricia is also the founder and Director of the nonprofit organization Caring About New Orleans Community Development Corporation, Inc (CANO CDC). CANO CDC provides educational programs to disadvantaged children in New Orleans, to include an annual Math Camp, Back to School giveaway, and annual scholarships to high school students. For the first time this year CANO CDC is sponsoring an end of summer water park trip for children.
Patricia is very involved in her church and holds the position of President of Missions Department. She has served as board member, outreach director, choir member, Sunday School teacher, and New Members coordinator. She is a chaplain for the women’s prison in New Orleans. She also serves as board member to several Community organizations. . Patricia has been the recipient of many awards with the latest one being the Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Exemplary Practice Award at the 2017 American Society for Public Administration Conference in Atlanta, GA. She was also awarded Who’s Who Among Black Business Women in 2003.
